My work life has become more stressful than it was before. ‚Ü‚¾AI still work at the commissary.. but I am now doing a GS-4 job. But guess what?! I have to wait a year to BECOME a GS-4. ‚Ó‚´‚¯‚ñ‚¶‚á‚Ë‚¥‚æ‚§`IŠ¾…‚½‚Ÿ‚ç‚½‚ç‚µ‚Ä–ˆ“ú–ˆ“úŽdŽ–‚µ‚Ä‚ñ‚Ì‚ÉˆêŒ¾‚Ìthank you‚àgood job‚à‰½‚à‚Ë‚¥–ˆ“ú‚ÅAyou're gonna tell me to wait a damn year?!?! —]ŒvŒ™‚É‚È‚Á‚Ä‚‚éB‚ ‚Í‚Í‚Í‚ÍBiƒ|‰½Î‚Á‚Ä‚éEEj I guess I don't really have a choice though.. It was only this year February that they FINALLY made me GS-3 (Regular Part Time Cashier) The rest of the almost 2 years I've been working there, they kept me as a GS-1 Student Hire. ‘²‹Æ‚µ‚½Œã‚àAall they were telling me was "OOhh, don't worry Nora. We want to keep you.. so you'll get the GS-3 position soon!! soon!" ......8 months later... TADAAAAA~! ‚ÖEE‚Ö‚ÁEEB‚ ‚«‚ê‚éB‚µ‚©‚àsince December of last year, I've been working as a GS-4 (Teller/Supervisor/Customer Service)..so..‰½‚È‚ÌHI and still... the least they can do is give me a full time position.. I work 39 hours a week.. ˆêŽžŠÔ‘«‚è‚È‚¢‚¾‚¯‚¶‚á‚Ë‚¥‚©Iƒu[II and I want them to respect us all who work in the Cash Cage.. and also our cashiers. Yes, customers are number one.. yes, if it wasn't for customers, we would never have our jobs.. ‚Å‚à you first need to care about your employees before you can expect all of us to care about the store and customers...Žv‚í‚È‚¢HHIf I at least get that feeling that they care about us and know that we work so hard.. and that they are thankful, I have nothing to complain about. I would gladly work my ass off everyday. But we work everyday like dogs.. and get treated nothing more than that. ƒ}ƒW‚ÅŒ¢‰½‚©‚æHI@i‚Å‚àŒ¢‚Á‚Ä‰Âˆ¤‚¢‚æ‚ËBB‚¦‚ç‚¢‚µjBut that's not what I'm saying! ahaha.. it's a saying ‚ËH"work like dogs". ‚³‚ŸEEBDAMN. what whaaaat. okinawa tadaima! i'm over at nate's right now.. chillin chillin. chotto hima. ashita we're going to the nago circuit... never been there.. so i'll see what that's all about. probably just a lot of cars zoom zooming around. soooo.. what's been happening with me.. first of all, i haven't gotten my RAISE yet. maji ITSU tte kanji!? i really want it. OKANEEE. i used so much money in florida.. i'm not mudazukai-ng for another month or so over here.. just the necessities. i'll see how that goes. my supervisor said she wants to start training me to do supervisory stuff. i won't be getting paid more or anything. it's just training.. but i said sure. experience doesn't hurt right? i'll just be doing other people's jobs. lol. oh well. i need something new and different in my work life anyway. that'll be interesting. me dealing with a lot of complaining customers. GREAT. can't wait. heh heh. my cousin in alabama was talking me into going to the university over there. university of south alabama. tuition free babyyyy. sorega ichiban no priority. lol. my cuz said south alabama's the most culturally diverse school in the state.. and i'm all about the diversity. hahaha. we'll see how that goes. i'm actually thinking about it. maybe rainen no spring ka summer. hmmm.. what else.. what else.. i registered for maryland classes this morning. i'm taking english 101 starting next week. monday and wednesday 2000-2245 on kadena airbase. glad it won't be interferring with my work schedule. and i also signed up for this libs class.. some library internet research class.. that's on sunday.. 9/26 and 10/10 from 0900-1700. fun fun. so fabulous. lol. (reading that MATT?! it's FABULOUS! hahah.) so yeahh. i think a typhoon's coming. hopefully it's not planning to come this weekend.. i wanna goto okuma. i don't wanna get blown away. let's pray.

the family reunion was crazy. soo many people that i didn't even know. hahah. i woke up at 5 in the morning...... ugh.. and we left the house around 7. but only started heading to mobile, alabama at 8! maybe people over here are oki time too. lol.. late at everything! i think we got there around 10ish.. the food was great~~. southern fooddd!! aaah (>_~). i thought we were gonna stay there the night.. but we ended up coming back to crestview around 6 or 7. and i think tomorrow we're tagging along with my cousin to jacksonville! he's going to help one of our aunts unpack and carry furniture and all that.. and my sister and i have nothing else better to do.. so we're going with him! lol. he was saying that the university of florida's campus was gorgeous.. so we might go check that out too. hopefully that'll be fun.. i heard it's a 5 hour drive to jacksonville from crestview.. hmmm. fabulous. i'm not used to sitting in the car for so long mann. nagasugiru!!

sOOOO yeah, i think today or yesterday makes it one year since i've had my job. woooooo. haha.. demo nanka sugoi. usually, when i start something.. i'm "mikka bo~zu". i'll eventually get tired or just lazy. and yaranaku naru. demo i've been doing pretty good with this work thing. haha. even tho towards the end of my senior year, i think i called in sick more than i should have. LOL. maaa maaa.. i was just having fun ok? so with this one year mark, maybe they'll give me my promotion! blaaah. okane hoshii zeeee.
i think when i go back to okinawa.. i'm gonna start a hobby. i don't know what tho. nani ga arukana~? wakaraaaan. i wanna goto a ryo~ri gakko~. demo to do that, you need KANE. blAH.

hmmmmmm... 19 more days to go!! wow... i thought there were a lot more to go.. but when i count the days.. it seems short! haha.. i'm in florida right now.. visiting my dad's side of the family.. great people.. very nice.. love them.. bUT NOTHING TO DOOOOOOOO (>_<) aaaaaaaaah.. majide hima ssu. kaimono shini ittara.. mudazukai shichaushi.. maaan. i miss my car!!!! america deka sugiru!!! especially where i'm at over here.. chotto inaka tte kanji. hahahaha. kocchi no "chotto soko made" is like a 30 minute ride. okinawa no "chotto soko made" is like a 5-10 minute WALK. hahahaha.. kuraberareneeeeze.

so.. what have i been up to the past few months? let's seeee.. june 5th, graduated from kubasaki high school. (pachi pachi pachi pachi!! (>_~)) and then just working. lol. not much.. i've been spending a lot of time with my friends who are moving.... moving on with their lives from oki and going towards their future in college and more searching the horizons. lol. and i'm just a lazy bum who doesn't want to move on just yet. (>_<) aaaaaaahh.. sometimes i feel like i should be like others... going off to the big america and all.. demo i have my reasons. (hAAAAA~?! what reasons. blahh) maaa maaa, iijann.. let me just go with my flow. haha. i'll be going to the university of maryland located onbase on oki. and continuing my job at the commissary.. the big boss was saying he's thinking about promoting me... gs-1 to gs-2.. we'll see how that goes. lol. i really want a reagular position.. not student position.. but i guess it's not that simple eh? i think the regular position is gs-3.. hmmm.. maybe i'll just go looking for a different job that pays more than 7.49 an hour. LOL.. yes. definitely. i was thinking about renting an apartment on my own... so i'm going to need the money. lol... bimbooo seikatsu ni naru kedo.. nanka tanoshisou. something new eh? wanted to try it.. but then again... maybe i shouldn't?? maybe i should just stay where i am.. and save that money up.. so i can use it for my future??? HMMMM.. decisions decisions decisions. i was thinking maybe after a year or two.. i might want to goto hawaii.. i heard their japanese major is pretty good.. .........but do i wanna major in japanese???? i hate translating. lOL. another reason that i'm considering hawaii tho.. is cus i know a lot of my close friends are going to be there. lol. damn. i'm such a loser. hahaha. i have no goal whatsoever. just a lonely little girl that wants to have company in life. maaan yo.. gotta start thinking eh???
